My Blog

Steve Bell was a guest on the Voice For Victims Podcast on June 2, 2022. Mr. Bell has approximately 30 years working in the Criminal Justice Field. He is a Licensed CTE Instructor at the State of Tennesse Riverbend Maximum Security Institution(RMSI) and Hostage Negotiator. He educated the community on how the Victim Impact Program is helping the inmates rehabilitate and making a positive change in those individuals. He also touched on the Reentry program that offers assistance in services being put in place for this population prior to being released from Prison. Both programs are trying to prevent recidivism. Some offenders don’t have housing, job or clothing prior to being released from incarceration. These programs are in place to help assist in these measures so that these individuals are not released into the community without resources. By doing this, it helps keep them from reoffending and essentially protecting society. Voice For Victims Podcast supports what Mr. Bell and his collegues are doing in the State of Tennesse. Anyone who would like to reach out to Mr. Bell to find out more about programs that are offered, he can be contacted at [email protected].
